Robert Kostolány has been involved in the basalt materials industry for over two decades. From 2000 to 2019, he worked as a Product Manager responsible for basalt products used in sewer infrastructure, gaining extensive practical and technical knowledge in this field.

Since 2019, he has served as the Commercial Director at EUTIT, the world’s largest producer of fused basalt. His work focuses on implementing innovative basalt-based solutions in infrastructure construction, as well as developing international markets and building partnerships with business clients worldwide.

During NO-DIG Poland 2025, Robert Kostolány will share his expertise, presenting the potential of basalt in modern rehabilitation and engineering projects. In his presentation, he will showcase a case study of the modernization of wastewater treatment infrastructure at the Main Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prague, where the use of steel pipes with EUTIT basalt lining became a key factor in ensuring the durability and reliability of the installation under demanding operational conditions.
