Graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology. Defended his doctoral thesis entitled: "Assessment and shaping of sewage pipe structures in terms of reliability theory" (1999, Institute of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology). Currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Building Mechanics and Urban Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology.

He specialises in the subject of technical condition assessment and rehabilitation of water and sewage pipes. He is the author and co-author of expertises carried out at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wroclaw University of Technology, as well as numerous scientific and technical publications, including the monograph entitled. "Testing and assessment of the technical condition of sewage pipes", standards of the Economic Chamber of Polish Waterworks entitled: "Basics of trenchless technical rehabilitation of water supply and sewage pipes in urbanised areas", PSTB standards entitled: "Acceptance testing of CIPP liners installed in pipelines of external networks and installations".

Errors in the Design and Execution Stages of Sewer Pipeline Rehabilitation

This presentation will cover the most common design and execution errors encountered in the technical rehabilitation of sewer pipelines. The errors will be discussed both from a general perspective and in relation to selected trenchless rehabilitation techniques commonly used in Poland, including continuous pipe lining, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, and modular pipe lining.
The presentation is aligned with the guidelines currently being developed by the Polish Society for Trenchless Technology (PSTB) for planning investments in trenchless rehabilitation of sewer and water networks.
